This vase is one of the most treasured pieces I've made in 2025. It features a beautiful amber colored glaze made from the ash of my wood stove and brushwork done with slip. The piece is "flawed" in that the glaze dripped in the kiln and required grinding to clean the drips away. Please see photos. Despite the flaw, this one-of-a-kind piece was too beautiful not to showcase.
Dimensions are roughly 12 inches (H) x 6 inches (W) x 6 inches (D).
