Sculptural Bowl with Neolithic Weave

This piece was made by attaching rattan to a stoneware bowl and continuing the form, or rim, of the bowl outwards, using Neolithic weave. The flecks of iron that come through in the celadon glaze echo the rustic elegance of a hr woven rattan form.
